Main Cause of Water Leakage at the Root of a PVC Cable Square 16A Float Level Switch

   It is well known that the primary design and quality issue of a float level switch lies in the sealing around the area where the cable passes through, making it prone to water leakage, leading to short circuits and failures. A small failure in a float level switch can result in significant consequences like “water flooding.”

Although the float  level switch is a consumer electronic product, its quality is of utmost importance.

During the design phase of our float level switch’s plastic casing, we used high-quality modified PP material. This material features excellent toughness, corrosion resistance, high strength, extremely low water absorption, and high-temperature resistance ranging from 80°C to 100°C. It also blends well with standard PP materials and PVC cables, ensuring the best possible sealing for the float level switch. We promise to use only new materials throughout the production process. Additionally, we validate the design dimensions of the cable entry SR part of the plastic casing with the cable outer diameter CPK fluctuations, ensuring a perfect dimensional fit to achieve optimal sealing. We conduct thorough inspections of the injected plastic casing and the outer diameter of the incoming PVC cables, allowing only qualified materials for use. Our injection molding process is strictly managed, with standardized control over the parameters for both upper and lower casing injections to ensure proper casing dimensions and increased bonding during overmolding, achieving a completely sealed float level switch.

   The high-quality pure copper PVC cable undergoes a coil bending test, meeting the standard of 20,000 cycles. Equipped with a high-quality Omron micro switch, the switch’s electrical performance is guaranteed to last for up to 1 million cycles.

   Before delivery, the float level switch undergoes a stringent airtightness test to ensure quality control, allowing only qualified products to be shipped.
